ORIGINAL STORY (8th Nov.): StarWars.com has posted the first chapter from Joe Schreiber's second Star Wars horror novel, Red Harvest, as a downloadable PDF file[External site - opens in a new window/tab].
Red Harvest, a prequel to Death Troopers, Schreiber's first Star Wars horror novel (and available now in paperback in the US), is set more than three and a half millennia before it and takes place during The Old Republic era: a dark and dangerous time, as Jedi Knights valiantly battle the Sith Lords and their ruthless armies.

Red Harvest is due for release in hardback on December 28th in the US and early 2011 in the UK.

Amazon.com has posted a three-page preview[External site - opens in a new window/tab] of The Clone Wars: Deadly Hands of Shon-Ju, written by Jeremy Barlow with art by the Millbach Brothers. These pages are different to the four-page preview recently published in Star Wars Insider #121 (US edition) / #97 (UK edition).
In The Clone Wars: Deadly Hands of Shon-Ju, the latest digest-sized The Clone Wars Quarterly graphic novella: Jedi Knight Aayla Secura's covert mission behind enemy lines is threatened by an encounter with Shon-Ju - a former Padawan turned cult leader. Shon-Ju claims to be after the same Separatist warlord that Aayla was sent to capture, but he also has plenty of reasons to hate the Republic and the Jedi. The Force is with Aayla, but she may need more than her lightsaber against "The Deadly Hands of Shon-Ju".
The Clone Wars: Deadly Hands of Shon-Ju is due for release in the US from Dark Horse Books on 1st December and in the UK from Titan Books on 17th December.
