Star Wars audio books.

			Why read a book when you can listen to one? Audio adaptations of Star Wars stories have existed since Brian Daley's radio dramatisation of Star Wars was first broadcast on US National Public Radio in 1981. Since then many major stories, particularly novels, have been adapted for audio either as a dramatisation that continues in the same vein as Daley's work on the Original Film Trilogy for radio by adapting a comic story such as Dark Empire and Dark Lords of the Sith; or as an audio recording of an abridged reading of a novel (sometimes with added sound effects and background music). Although audio dramatisations are no longer made, since 2008 all audio recordings of novels are unabridged.

This list includes all published Star Wars Saga* (Story Group approved) and Star Wars Legends audiobooks.
