Jedi comic book series. |

|
|
Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is a
comic book series published by Dark Horse Comics
between 1993 and 1998 that
covers eight story arcs spanning more than a millennia on the
Star Wars timeline. Beginning some five thousand years before
Palpatine, Vader, Luke and Leia, it chronicles the galatic wars
between the ancient Sith and the Jedi of The Old Republic. The first published story arc, Ulic
Qel-Droma and the Beast Wars of Onderon, was written by
Tom Veitch and was part of the series of stories that
eventually became known as Knights
of the Old Republic (not to be confused with the videogame
or comic book series of the
same name). Veitch went on to write the next two story arcs: The
Saga of Nomi Sunrider and The
Freedon Nadd Uprising; and co-authored the fourth story
arc, Dark Lords of the Sith,
with Kevin J. Anderson. Anderson went on to write the last
four story arcs: The Sith War , The
Golden Age of the Sith, The
Fall of the Sith War and Redemption.
In 2007/8 all eight story arcs were collected into two
Omnibus editions. |
