Reviews:
Review by Darth Kondorr, Poland, 2017:

This might be the best new canon depiction of Princess Leia to date. The others were barely resembling the on-screen heroine and in worst cases were doing her a massvie dishonor. So, this being Leia's book, is a major advantage. The story itself is pretty solid, even when the second part is not very exciting and the third part got very preachy. The first chapter is, where the book strikes gold and that chapter earned this book the fourth star. It really great and sets up the events of Return of the Jedi pretty neatly in motion. I would not say, that this is a proper replacement for Shadows of the Empire but yet another worthwhile puzzle in the grand scheme of the new canon.
