Synopsis:
Jocasta Nu, the Jedi Temple librarian, puts forth a
desperate effort to gather and preserve whatever she can
of the Jedi legacy after the purge. Darth Vader and the
Grand Inquisitor cannot let Jocasta succeed and are sent
after her, as Palpatine views her as a particular
threat. Her knowledge makes her almost a one-woman Jedi
Order that must be stopped. |

Although
I am not a The Last Jedi hater, I really needed a break from Star
Wars after seeing that movie twice. I am glad I chose to return to
Star Wars New EU with this title, as it hooked me immidiatly and
rekindled my thirst for more Star Wars. Darth Vader is rarely
written baddly, and this one is no exeption. The biggest downer,
even if not really big, is that the likness of Vader is not really
good. He is recognizeable as Vader, but the helmet proportions are
mostly off. It looks like someone meant him to look like Vader, but
he does not really look like Vader. The worst offender though is
Palpatine... he looks as if an avocado had a child with the
topographical map of Utah. ;) The story is really nice, harking
back to an old Clone Wars plot, Anakin helped to foil. Now he is
doing Sidious's bidding. Not exactly a must read, but definetly a
worthy read.
